April 2025

Spring is in the air! Mr. Schoenfeldt has planned games of kickball for our youngest Wolverines and we need your help! If you’re already at school around the K-2 recesses, check in at the office and join the fun!

We need an executive board for next year! If you are interested in being on next year’s board, or would like to coordinate an event (Math Challenge, Family Fun Night, STEM Fair, etc.), please complete this survey no later than April 25. Remember all PTA volunteer hours count toward PACE hours.

We still have a ton of great programs & events coming up, and PTA would greatly appreciate your feedback on past Events, Programs, Communication & Meetings. Please take a few minutes to complete this online survey before May 3.

At the end of each year, Wellington honors PTA members and teachers and staff in our community who have made an impact on our community. If you have an educator, staff member or parent in mind to nominate for a Golden Acorn, Outstanding Educator, Outstanding Advocate, Wellington Way, or PTA Honorary Lifetime Membership Award, please nominate them by May 16 using this link: https://forms.gle/3QuWaJjpvj6TFdpB9

Also, please remember to submit an expense report if you have purchased an item for a PTA Event or Program. We are developing the budget for the 2025-2026 school year, and funds spent this year will help determine how much funding to allocate to programs for next year. Expense report forms are linked here and are also located in the the PTA drawer in the Main Office.

Have some Wellington Spirit Wear you’ve outgrown? Please consider donating it to the Wellington PTA Spirit Wear Swap which will happen in Fall 2025 (next year). The event is still in work but will be an opportunity for families to ‘shop’ and take home previously loved Spirit Wear. More details to come, but until then, please keep reading for information on this month’s happenings.
