Our Parent Education night is February 3 on Zoom! The topic is Positive Discipline, and it is FREE for Wellington families, you just need to remember to pre-register while there are still spots available!
We had many incredible performances at last Friday's Talent Show! It takes a lot of courage to stand on a stage in front of 200 people, and Webster wants all of the performers to know taht they should be very proud of themselves!
Hooray, the STEM Fair is on! Students can start working on at-home science fair projects anytime between now and the March 3 STEM Fair. Create a poster to display your findings at the STEM Fair, then participate in fun activities and exhibits including an egg drop, Museum of Flight, Rock Science and more!
We are entering the time of year where we begin planning for major events including Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week, Field Day, and 5th Grade Graduation. We are lucky to have awesome volunteers who have stepped up to lead the coordination of these events but it takes a team to put them on for our students. Please email president@wellingtonpta.org if you can help with Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week, have new ideas for Field Day, or want to help with 5th grade graduation.
Have a limited amount of time? Coordinate a Wellington Night Out at a Mariner’s Game, conduct a mid-year financial review of our PTA books, or participate in the PTA Executive Board nominating committee. These are minimal time commitments but we haven’t had any volunteers for these roles yet (and yes, these count towards PACE hours!).

Principal Schoenfeldt will be presenting the Wellington School Action Plan (SAP) from 5:30-6:30pm over Zoom. The SAP outlines the goals that school leadership has set for our school and how the school works to meet those goals. Zoom information will be added as the date gets closer.

Some Important Emergency Reminders:
If you are volunteering at school and a drill or a true emergency occurs, please remain with your class until you are directed to exit the building. Once outside, all volunteers should check in with Ms. Beavo in the Courtyard (specifically by the table near the Publishing Room). Ms. Beavo will then take attendance so we can also account for all adults at school. If you arrive to school while a drill is happening, please proceed straight to the Courtyard to check in. Please remember to return your Emergency Comfort Kits to school if you haven't already done so.
